Yesterday, was Valentine's Day and as I was getting the kids and Their Daddy cards and little treats to let them know how much I love them... I was thinking about so many things...Next Year we'll be able to do this and make the day special with our little guy!! Then, the thought ran through my mind as it often does...
Because God Loves us, Through His Grace, He gave us His Son Jesus, not just so we can go to Heaven, but so we can have life to the full. God's perfect love cast out the enemy and his lies, and overcame the world for us so that we would no longer be apart from God but with Him and in Him. This is truly the most amazing love story of all!!
Jesus said:
The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.John 10:10
While we are still waiting to bring home our little boy to be his forever family...some may think that we are going to be such a blessing in his life. And...I do hope we are able to be a blessing in his life...However, it is our family that is blessed! Our family is overflowing with God's Abundant LOVE and Peace.
We have been totally blessed and I am humbled that God, The Creator of the Universe, chose US to be a family for one of His precious children! I believe that this is the abundance that Jesus was talking about! Abundance isn't a fancy house or $$$ or even fancy clothes and dream vacations....
When we have an encounter with our Abba Father, one cannot help but be totally amazed and radically forever changed...Never being able to go back; but only move forward in His LOVE and Abundance!! Thank You Lord that Your LOVE never fails! I am blown away by that perfect LOVE:)
