Introducing...our family

If I had to describe our family, I would tell you....Jerry and I have been married for 11 amazing years! Jerry keeps very busy with his job while I am a stay-at-home mom. A day in the life over here is probably like most families with small children...we attend an amazing church, we are a soccer family..with a mini-van to boot, we have amazing neighbors in a small suburban town near Chicago.   I also meet in a small group with other young moms doing a bible study/book study and fellowship once a week. Our family is privileged to be witness to the amazing miracle of adoption.  Since our 7 nieces and nephews were adopted and came home, I have been forever broken for the Orphan, The Fatherless. Our entire family including our children have been able to see the hope and life that is given to these children when a family takes them in and becomes their forever family. As a result of God's leading, I joined a team of amazing people who educate and encourage others to advocate for and adopt Orphans with HIV/AIDS and special needs. Together we have 3 biological children, Gerald, Mia and Sarah. Jerry also has a beautiful 19 year old daughter, Bailey, who is currently attending a local college and working a part time job.  She seems to be doing very well and enjoys her classes. Gerald is a very athletic 10 yr. old who knows he is loved by His Heavenly Father and has been praying for about 2 years for our family to adopt a brother or sister. He loves to hang with his cousins and friends and play soccer and basketball.  Mia is our 8 yrs. old, our little book worm, who loves to play with her friends, play school, games, and of course soccer. Sarah is 6..we call her Sarah "Beara".  She loves playing school and baby dolls..She also loves to do just about anything her big sister Mia does. We are a future adoptive family who is trusting God for His guidance in our lives; through His Grace and unconditional love.
