So, yesterday I was feeling blessed...things are moving right along...trusting God as we wait for what is next...After church, i took the kids out for lunch, a very rare occasion, as we usually eat at home.  We were then able to go outside and play for a little while, the weather was very warm for a February day out here.  Later, was the Superbowl and visiting with friends and neighbors and the chili cook off!!! After coming home to get back to house work and some laundry chores...I found that a pipe had begun to leak ..so much that the entire drywall behind this pipe will have to be replaced!!UGH. This morning I began to cry...with so much going on and a home visit on the way on top of this!!!Then I read this mornings daily verse by Max Lucado...(of course I can't remember where exactly this is in Psalms) but here it is: "THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT!"  I am choosing to totally ignore that we are going to have to spend money and do repairs...and really who cares if our laundry room is tore up when the social worker gets here....I see this as just another one of Satan's attempts to bring me doubt and stomp on my joy...However, it is just temporary and of course will be fixed. Why am I gonna let this steal my joy and everything the Lord is doing in our family? I choose to rejoice and be glad in this day and stay focused on Jesus, no matter what storm may try and come our way! Lord, help us to keep our eyes planted on YOU and not moved...Help us to see through any tactic of Satan and continue to stand on your promises..Your Word.  ThankYou for Your peace that transcends all understanding! Going to get off this computer and enjoy all of your gifts today!! In Jesus Name I pray..Amen :)
